Faith. Excellence. Impact.
At Andrews University, homeschooling is not treated as an exception. It is recognized as an intentional and legitimate educational choice.
Homeschool students often arrive as independent learners, accustomed to depth, discipline, and responsibility for their own education. Andrews provides a rigorous, faith-centered academic environment where those strengths are understood and supported, not questioned.
As the flagship institution of Adventist higher education, Andrews welcomes students from homeschool, hybrid, and traditional backgrounds and provides clear pathways into college without asking families to compromise their values or learning approach.
Academic rigor grounded in Christian values and purpose.
The only nationally ranked Seventh-day Adventist university.
Students from 100+ countries learning and leading together.
An 11:1 student-to-faculty ratio ensures meaningful mentorship.
Strong career placement and graduate school success.
Generations of graduates shaping institutions and communities worldwide.

Long before homeschooling was widely recognized as a legitimate educational pathway, Andrews faculty and leaders were engaged in research, advocacy, and academic work that helped shape national conversations around home education. This commitment reflects a broader institutional belief in educational choice, thoughtful instruction, and learning grounded in purpose.
That legacy continues in Andrews University’s leadership. President John Wesley Taylor V was himself homeschooled and has spent decades contributing to the study and advancement of home education through research, teaching, and public scholarship. His work has helped elevate homeschooling as a credible and respected approach to learning.
Today, Andrews University continues to welcome students from homeschool, hybrid, and traditional educational backgrounds. Homeschooling is not treated as an exception, but as one of many valid pathways into a rigorous, faith-centered academic experience.
The Andrews Partnership Scholarship helps make a Christ-centered undergraduate education more accessible by rewarding academic achievement and supporting students from day one.
